YouTube Deja Vu

Not a huge update or thought today, but I had to share this.

Not too long ago, I wrote a post about GoldieBlox. My family and I were such excited supporters that we jumped at the chance to participate in a promotional video for the product during its Kickstarter campaign. So we worked with my oldest daughter Mia to recite some of the provided script.

I have to admit that once we saw the final cut of the video, I was maybe a little disappointed with the screen time that Mia got - not quite Mike Wazowski getting covered up by the Monsters, Inc. logo - but we took A LOT of takes! This is all in jest of course - we were happy to be part of the project at all.

Now, why bring this up? Basically, I hadn't watched the video in a few months. Today, I just felt like checking it out, and it ended up being one of those weird coincidence / types of things. Here I am watching and I have a general idea when she will come up - ready to chuckle internally at the few words that Mia got trimmed down to...and BAM!

I am going to leave it at that. I suggest that you take a look at yesterday's post about my lunch with my niece, watch the short video above (again, if you already watched it - you're so impatient sometimes, I swear!), and try to figure out which little girl (that only got two words!) is mine. All of a sudden, I didn't care that she only got two words. With what is going on in my life, she got the best words in the whole video!
